There appear to be two kinds of Russian World War I 6-inch guns, the characteristics of which are as follows: 6-inch, 45 calibre, 7 tons weight, firing a 89lb projectile with a muzzle velocity of 2600lb at a rate of 3 rounds per minute. The second type has a weight of 7.5 tons and produces a muzzle velocity of 2900 lbs. The other parameters of this guns are the same at those of the first type (Jane 1990:231).
